FAIR³ is a site-specific audiovisual installation by ruestungsschmie.de, presented on the historic Nizhny Novgorod Fair facade during Intervals Festival 2025.

Combining traditional projection mapping with precision laser mapping, the work transforms the building into an active narrator. All visual content is derived directly from the architecture’s own geometry and context—no overlays, no added symbols.

The piece explores the building’s role as a historical trade hub, an urban anchor, and a space of forward-looking exchange. Light reveals structure; lasers trace movement; projections articulate rhythm.

Sound design by Zirqule adds a spatial dimension, creating a dialogue between architecture, memory, and motion.

FAIR³ is not a spectacle, but a conversation—with a building that has always had something to say.
