We were invited by Philipp Geist to create an audiovisual video mapping show @ Lichtkunst Weliheim. Philipp Geist choose a very specific building for us: the Jahnhalle. Being a functional brutalist concrete structure from the 1970s, not really fitting into the picturesque Bavarian architecture Weilheim has to offer, the Jahnhalle is considered the city’s „ugly duckling“ by the people living there. We tried to change this perspective by developing an audiovisual videomapping which concentrates on the surrounding, the context and the construction, making the building the protagonist.
