One of our first collaborative projects as ruestungsschmie.de
We developed a interactive typography based on a 5X5 square pattern. Each letter is hand painted on a 1,5X1,5 canvas, by overprinting fluorescent paint. The footage was recorded using UV light.
By programming the single clips into a keyboard sensitive font, we could use this font to type anything we want by using the standard computer keyboard.
We went on developing this font into a speech reactive interactive installation shown on the OSTRALE 2010 in Dresden, Germany.
