It was indeed a privilege for us to receive an invitation to the inaugural edition of the festival, LIGHT OUR VISION, in Chemnitz. This extraordinary event was the brainchild of three dynamic women who envisioned a platform that would offer the citizens of Chemnitz a glimpse into the future. Their aim was to showcase the potential transformations that could occur in 2025, a year when Chemnitz is set to be recognized as a European Capital of Culture.

Our canvas for this event was the historic building that once housed the SED Party. We were entrusted with both the front and back facades of this structure, along with the imposing 17-meter tall Karl-Marx-Monument. These two landmarks, steeped in history and memories, hold a special place in the hearts of the people of Chemnitz.
